#1440Makers 3D printing Livestream for Australian wildfire relief - LIVE

I was on the #1440Makers 3D printing Livestream for Australian wildfire relief this morning. It is a 24 hour broadcast so there is still a lot left. When I left the stream we had raised about $1400 for charity but there is still a lot left to go.

The donations are being run through the Gumroad page for 1440 Makers where you can buy 3D models that have been donated by the streamers.

I donated two models - a bookmark/clip shaped like Australia (very reliable, I have printed a whole bunch of them) and one shaped like a flying fox (less reliable… not suggested unless you are using PETG or a more flexible material). They can be purchased here.

P.S. They are doing giveaways in the live chat box on YouTube and people are winning some great 3D printing prizes that have been donated by sponsors. You do have to actively pay attention to the stream to have a real chance to win, so hop on board.

Probably my best design yet - even with just regular PLA plastic the clip is nice and flexible and I have printed several of these, including one in the 1440Makers Livestream. Buy here! Funds go to Australian fire relief, not to my 3D printing addic…
